Just a few pictures from our 2015 visit. We celebrated our 29th anniversary this trip and it was wonderful. Residents love to help visitors celebrate special days and they created another lovely dessert during our Sunset Mona Lisa dining extravaganza. Seems that they have altered their name from what it was for the last 10+ years, Sunset da Mona Lisa.
First up are a couple of pictures of a local Dia de Muerta (Day of the Dead) display.
For several years we have been trying to make it to a local waterfall, Cañón de la Zorra (Canyon of the Fox), which is in the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range and this year we just about made it, but not quite. We simply weren't properly dressed with the right footwear and we had to abandon the attempt....again! It is not an easy walk. Someday...
A photo of a random iguana sunning and finally the obligatory sunset shots....
