2019 was a wonderful three-week trip. We did a whole bunch of relaxing and not too much else.
Took a trip to the Rancho project again and it is beautiful. A few pictures are included.
The three-day Bisbee Black and Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament included more than 125 boats this year and they take off at sunrise passing in front of our Hacienda Encantada resort. Quite a sight after my morning gym visit. The winning catch this year was a 577-pound blue marlin and paid $1.4 million for one fish! Between the top three winners for each daily "best" and the final point winner three boats earned about $4.5 million. Quite the rich tournament that draws people from all over the world and has the downtown marina area explode with fun.
Also included a few snaps of the The Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) display in Playa Grande's lobby. The local celebrations of this holiday cross over with Halloween and the downtown area was absolutely hopping as it does every year. The kids and parents go all-out with costumes and all of the local merchants provide treats for the costumed participants and the celebration lasted well into the night.
Our Hacienda Encantada resort is still expanding and improving and a few pictures are also included....
